Elmgrove Primary School

Elmgrove Primary School was Van's primary school, a few minutes walk from his home. It is bordered by the river Connswater, which became the title of an instrumental track. After Elmgrove, Van attended school at the Orangefield School for Boys.

The footage of the children playing in a school playground in the video for "The Healing Game" is actually filmed at Elmgrove school. A lot of the other streets used in the video seem to be around the Albertbridge / Newtownards Road area of east Belfast.
