Televised as a Rockpalast Special; Guenter Becker: the correct date for the Van Morrison show is Sunday April 4. The Rockpalast Night where this show was taken from started on April 3 around 23:00 MEZ with Rick James. Van played the second set and this was around 01:00 MEZ on April 4; Patrick Lazzarotto: The date of the actual show was April 3. The broadcast was the following evening April 4. Most of the Rockpalast shows are broadcast the date following the actual show; Simon Gee: According to the wonderful Wavelength Videography, and my personal records, the show started at 22.50 GMT in the UK, which means a German start time of 23.50 CET (what is MEZ Guenter?). Hence the show spreads over the 3 to 4 APR 82. It was broadcast live across Europe, so the date has to be 3-4 APR. 82.
