MIDNIGHT SPECIAL; Van, Hot Press 2000: "The first song I got up and sang would probably be the Leadbelly song 'Midnight Special' when I was at school. We did this at Christmas, in my last year there. I had a skiffle group and it went down great. The other guys in the group were actually at the same school as me."
