Just back from a business meeting whereat a colleague who knew I was a collector approached me for a copy of a Van show that he and his wife attended in 1972, when students at Villanova University. (It was the wife's senior year, thus the certainty on the year -- 1972). They "think" the show was in May. Given the proximity of Villanova to Philadelphia, and the Philadelphia show occurring on 21 May 1972, I would presume this show would have been on 22 May 1972. No other information is available, although they are certain Van was the headliner act.
