VAN MORRISON - LIVE - THE PERFORMANCES

2004-02-07

KL, HD
1h31m32s

"I've not that much to say about Saturday night's show, but here's my two cents. Van did not say a word to the audience, but he was in quite a good mood, laughing a couple of times and shouting the usual 'yeah!' during some solos. My girlfriend saw Van for the first time (it was my 35th show) and she really had a great time. She liked Saint James Infirmary a lot and also Sometimes We Cry. Van played some really great harmonica on The Philosophers Stone, but the real highlight for me was the ending of Little Village, when Van, Matt and Martin stood close together, centre stage, Van improvising on his sax, taking the sound down more and more. All in all, I would rate this show certainly above average. We had a great time. Too bad we could see the precious time ticking away on the big clock (we were on the side of the stage)... Hans
