1h33m; Iceland Jazz Festival 2004; the purported 14-piece big band was not to be seen or heard, and one witty punter noted that the Iceland Jazz Festival's website report of the big band may have been a poorly rendered Icelandic translation of Van Morrison's band appearing at the 14th Annual Icelandic Jazz Festival. Expecting a greatest-hits concert in what was essentially a Sports Stadium on which chairs and some bleacher seating covered a gymnasium floor, Van core nomads heard a solid show with Van working the vocals that only he can muster when in the mood, and with excellent venue acoustics. Although various Jazz Festival collateral stated the show began at 8:30 p.m., the tickets stated 8:00 p.m. and the show began at that minute, and yes, the stage clock was present.
