Van Morrison geeft concert in Heineken Music Hall

(Novum) - Van Morrison staat op 10 oktober in de Heineken Musical Hall in Amsterdam. Dat maakte organisator Mojo dinsdag bekend. In november gaf de artiest al een uitverkocht concert in ons land.

De 62-jarige zanger begon in 1967 zijn solocarrière. Hij was succesvol met onder meer de nummers 'Bright side of the road' en 'Brown-eyed girl'. Dit voorjaar verscheen zijn nieuwste album 'Keep it simple'. De plaat is de eerste sinds jaren waarvoor de muzikant alle elf de nummers speciaal heeft geschreven.
In het voorprogramma staat de Nederlandse muzikant Daniël Lohues. De 37-jarige Lohues stond al eerder in het voorprogramma van onder anderen Van Morrison en de Rolling Stones. De voorverkoop voor het concert start zaterdag.
